Auction: Auction items will be on display and accompanied by a auction sign-up sheet. Miminum bids will be indicated.

Raffle: A maximum of 250 tickets at $5.00 each will be sold, allowing us to raise up to $1,250 for the Cascade School arts programs and giving you a great opportunity to help the students and win something that will make the evening even more memerable. Raffle Tickets will be available at the Swinging For a Cause Swing Dance Jazz. You must be present to win, so get your Swing Dance Tickets now!

About the Artist: Kerry Siderius

Kerry Siderius is a watercolor and oil painter based in North Central Washington, known for her expressive depictions of the region’s landscapes and rural life. Raised on an apple orchard in Bridgeport and educated at the Art Institute of Seattle and Central Washington University, she brings a grounded, local sensibility to her work. After refining her craft in Dallas’s Design District, she returned home to paint the scenery that first inspired her.

This original 28" x 40" acrylic and watercolor canvas is a vivid example of Kerry’s layered, intuitive style—rich in color, bold in composition, and unmistakably rooted in the natural world she calls home.

Artist: Lore Smart

Lore is one of the two arts instructors from the ICCA 20,000 Hours of Art program working in the Cascade School District. An incredible art teacher and student mentor, Lore teaches at Icicle River Middle School.

About the Artist:

My mixed media art is a reflection of inner healing, spiritual growth, and the search for connection. I work with color, texture, and imperfection—scraping, folding, tearing, layering—embracing both the mess and the clarity. Each piece begins with freedom and evolves into thoughtful composition, shaped by recent experiences and discoveries.

Words often emerge in my process, offering space for reflection and moments of awe or grief. Art gives me room to breathe amidst the chaos of life and parenting, offering peace and a deeper sense of meaning.

I hope my work brings you joy, wonder, or simply a pause. And if it doesn’t, that’s okay too.
