Immensely talented, multi-instrumentalist and jazz vocalist, Rachel Bade-McMurphy is the engine that drives Imagine Jazz: Spokane Jazz Collective. Through her organization, Rachel has enlighten the city of Spokane through her Guest Artist Series with performances from The Willie Jones III Quintet, The Vincent Herring Quartet, Logan Richardson's BLUES PEOPLE, The Black Art Jazz Collective, The Joe Magnarelli Quintet, Mike LeDonne's Groover Quartet, Aaron Parks Little Big, Jeremy Pelt Quintet and Jonathan Barber's Vision Ahead. Rachel’s own style incorporates classical jazz and resulting sub-genres including the creative improvised music, progressive fusion and related art music. Rachel depth of playing is sure to reach the boundaries of contemporary listeners experiences.
